everything is urgent, nothing is urgent
 
everything is urgent, nothing is urgent is a film focused on the color red and its presence in nature and online. I, like app and OS developers, learned that our bodies have adapted, becoming sensitive to the color. It broadcasts to us and we use it to broadcast to other people in a variety of situations. It’s kept us alive. Red is a proof of life. Our reactivity to the color stems from a need to survive. From old, old histories of trauma and trauma averted.

Today, Our most frequent interaction with the color red online is through the app badges on our phone notifications. Every notification is coded as urgent
